About James H. Boyd

James H. Boyd Intermediate School is proud to serve approximately 420 students in grades 3 through 5. At Boyd, we believe in educating the whole child by nurturing academic growth, social-emotional development, and a love for learning.

Our dedicated staff works to create a warm, inclusive environment where students feel welcome, supported and challenged. Through a strong academic curriculum and an emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving, we help students build on their foundational skills and prepare for future success.

Beyond the classroom, Boyd offers a wide range of opportunities to enrich our students’ school experience. We provide a variety of after-school clubs, in-school enrichment activities for all children, and a vibrant music program that includes band, orchestra, and chorus. We are also excited to host our 3rd Annual Boyd Musical, a highlight of the year that showcases creativity and talent. We take pride in helping every student grow into confident, curious, and compassionate learners.
